Molly was sold. Whatever ridiculous scheme her best friend was cooking up, she was in.

But Laurel continued to drone on with details about this cute guy she met, his single friends, and their private little get-together tonight.

Molly shrugged. She was a grizzled veteran of the LA dating scene. How bad could this party be? If it was truly that awful, she would take her free donuts – plural – and maybe a cup of coffee and then disappear into the crowd. No one would even notice her.

Molly was good at going unnoticed.
