Arthur eased back into the office chair, his hearing test now complete.
“Personal question, if I may?” asked the physician, a slender, striking woman in her early forties.
“Of course,” he said with a sly grin.
He knew where this was going. He may have been in his mid-60’s but he had the looks and the swagger of a man twenty years younger.
Or so he thought.
“My nana is single,” she said.
Nana?!?! Arthur fumed.
If it wasn’t for his bad hip he would’ve hopped right out of that seat and stormed out of that office never to return.
