A fury of sweat and movement. That was life on the assembly line. Fifteen hours a day, seven days a week.
But suddenly it was over, at least for the next half-hour. He felt the robotic hand around the base of his neck. And he hadn’t even noticed his wrist monitor vibrating and flashing red.
Jason stepped aside immediately so his replacement could take over. Now it was off to his designated rehabilitation station where his blood pressure would be measured, his vitals checked.
If clear, then it was back to his station.
The assembly line waits for no human.
