The couple knew their new house was haunted but had conveniently ignored all the warnings. The disembodied voices groaning and moaning. The doors slamming. Heavy chains being dragged across floorboards in the early morning hours. But it was this latest threat that had the newlyweds concerned.
The walls of the baby’s nursery had been mysteriously repainted. Yet again. No matter what shade the expectant parents had painted the room the day before, the next morning it always returned to the same old original color – blood red.
“Well?” she finally asked with a sigh.
“I can live with it,” he answered.
