He flipped the last of his famous chocolate chip pancakes onto the plate, the finishing touch to this morning masterpiece.
Ned had never made anyone breakfast in bed before, so no detail was going overlooked. Pancakes, bacon, hot coffee and one red rose.
Over-the-top? Probably, but subtlety is for losers. He woke up next to someone this morning. He was ready to celebrate.
Ned grabbed the tray table and crept his way through his messy living room. He nudged open his bedroom door.
