Her story was rich with detail, almost too good to be true.
First, there was the warm, cozy yet completely empty cabin in the middle of the woods.
Then there were the three portions of delicious porridge of varying temperatures, the three chairs of varying hardness and the three beds of varying lengths.
I took her advice, found the cabin and helped myself to everything.
But I hadn’t been asleep for more than ten minutes when I heard growling. I awoke and found three angry bears at the foot of the bed.
I should’ve known better.
