The two sisters had never been close.
One was popular, pretty and athletic. The other… not. But their tumultuous high school days were long gone.
“This’ll work nicely,” Jessica said, holding up a breezy floral sundress.
She knew it was far too risqué for her older, more reserved sister but didn’t care. Desperate measures were calling.
“You sure?” Angela asked, her self-doubt in full bloom. It was her first date in years.
Jessica laid the dress out on her bed before doing the unexpected. She placed her arms around her sister, enveloping her in a big, warm hug.
