Hard Sell

She saw this cute guy mingling among the other customers and pounced. He screamed easy, the perfect target for an overpriced lease on an outdated sedan.

She spotted him an hour later lingering outside the dealership holding a small scrap of paper. Watched him open the paper and saw his smile fade, his shoulders droop.

She was hard, but this was a bit much.

She marched outside and handed him her business card. Better than that paper with her phone number and the missing digit.

He smiled wide and she melted.

A strange emotion for her, this feeling of vulnerability.
